This lovely family based in Highbury, London, is seeking a Full-time Nanny/PA to care for their toddler and school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, along with the additional responsibility of preparing three dinners per week for the children, following provided recipes. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:30 pm (with occasional evening flexibility).
Duties include:
- School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups (all walkable)
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings
- Taking the children to extracurricular classes (swimming, ballet, drama)
- Providing occasional evening routine support (bath and bedtime)
- Managing and rotating toys and activities
- Booking and attending playdates and children’s events
- Buying birthday cards and presents for classmates
- Supporting early learning milestones through play
- Managing and organising the children’s wardrobes (e.g. rotating seasonal clothing, sorting outgrown items)
- Managing the family calendar and appointments
- Grocery shopping and overseeing household stock levels
- Handling online orders, returns, and post
- Running errands, such as dropping off dry cleaning
- Booking family travel, flights, and restaurant reservations
- Booking and meeting tradespeople as needed
- Carrying out light housekeeping (dishwasher, kitchen surfaces, laundry)
- Liaising with the cleaner, who comes two days a week
- Feeding two friendly cats and managing their supplies
- Filing school forms and supporting with general light household admin
- Preparing three dinners for the children per week (recipes provided)
- Using leftovers for the remainder of the dinners
- Making packed lunches and snacks for school
- Providing pet sitting and house sitting when the family is away
