A family in Kensington, London is looking for a German-speaking Afterschool Nanny to look after their baby and two school-aged children. This is a sole charge role so someone who has childcare experience is essential. The working hours for this position will be Monday to Friday approximately 25 hours per week with some flexibility. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
The duties for this position will include
- tidying up after the children,
- preparing simple meals and snacks,
- assisting with bath time routine,
- dressing the children,
- feeding them,
- taking them to playdates,
- preparing various age-appropriate activities,
- playing with them,
- helping the other children with homework,
- making sure they are always happy and safe,
- changing nappies and preparing milk for the little one,
- helping with the bedtime routine,
- doing some ironing,
- and light grocery shopping/errands.
Someone who speaks German would be ideal to help the children learn how to communicate well using the language but the family is also open for someone who speaks French. The family would like someone to start as soon as possible.
