A lovely family based in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Housekeeper-Companion to help maintain their large private residence to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of housekeeping experience and will speak fluent English. Someone reliable, organised, flexible, and confident working in a large family home would be ideal for this role.
The property is approximately 9,000 sq ft and includes 7 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and dining room. The housekeeper-companion will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including floor care, dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen maintenance, laundry, ironing, bed making, and dishware organisation.
The role will also include cooking nutritious and healthy meals, planning meals in advance, following recipes when required, preparing lunches and snacks, and shopping for food items. No immediate childcare will be required, but the family would like someone with experience working in a home where children are present.
The family has a care assistant dog, so the candidate will need to help with walking and feeding the dog. A driver is required for this role, and the candidate should be confident driving both automatic and manual cars.
The candidate will be provided with a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom within the main property, with access to in-house utilities.
Working hours: 5 days per week, 8:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 19:00. Flexibility will be required throughout the week, with days off in lieu in the event of emergency requirements.
