This family based in Muswell Hill, London is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to help them maintain a clean and organised home. An ideal candidate will be someone hardworking and flexible who can do all general housekeeping tasks. A driver who holds a full driving license is required for this role and the candidate should be comfortable driving both automatic and manual vehicles as occasional child pick-up will be needed and the family will provide a car. The family has a dog so someone pet-friendly is ideal and will also be responsible for walking the dog.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, approximately 27.5 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Maintaining and deep cleaning the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- General cooking and meal preparation
- Walk the dog
