A fantastic family in Putney, London, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard and assist with meal preparation. They are looking for someone organised, reliable, and hardworking who can confidently manage all general housekeeping duties. The housekeeper will also be responsible for cooking and preparing simple meals for the family. A Spanish-speaking candidate is highly preferred, although English-speaking applicants will also be considered.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and upkeep of a private household
- Performing routine floor care: sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping throughout the home
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, shelves, and surfaces
- Deep cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, showers, bathtubs, and toilets
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen area, including all appliances and surfaces
- Washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing all laundry tasks and ensuring clothes are put away neatly
- Making beds and replacing bed linens and towels as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Sweeping leaves and tidying the courtyard garden and patio areas
- Carrying out weekly grocery shopping (e.g. Ocado/Waitrose)
- Cooking healthy meals for the family and children
- Preparing and serving nutritious snacks and packed lunches tailored to children’s needs
They are looking for someone who can start on the 4th of August 2025, and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
