A warm and welcoming family based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Full-time Live-in International Nanny/Family Assistant to join them on a long-term basis.
The ideal candidate will speak fluent English. French, Spanish, or Mandarin would be highly welcomed, as the family values multicultural exposure and language development for their children. Someone maternal, loving, firm, patient, proactive, and deeply passionate about children would be ideal for this role.
The family has four children, with a fifth child on the way. The main focus of the role will be their bright and happy 4-year-old son, who has muscular atrophy. He walks independently and attends physical therapy three times a week, but may need occasional physical support. The family is looking for someone who will treat him normally, lovingly encourage him, and help build his confidence and independence.
During school hours, the nanny/family assistant will help create a warm, Montessori-inspired environment for the younger daughters, supporting creativity, good values, and development. After school, the role will involve supporting all the children together, encouraging teamwork, strong sibling bonds, and a joyful home environment.
The candidate must be fully hands-on and happy to take responsibility for everything related to the children. This includes organising educational and developmental activities, supporting routines, meals, schedules, physical and emotional development, independence, responsibility, and good manners.
The family has additional household staff, but they are not looking for someone who only supervises or delegates. The ideal candidate will work well as part of a team, mentor others when needed, and actively take part in the children’s daily lives.
This is a long-term role for someone who wishes to grow with the family and become a trusted and valued part of the household. Loyalty, consistency, positive discipline, and a genuine love for children are very important.
The role will include worldwide travel for around 3 to 4 months per year. A driver is not required in Saudi Arabia, but being able to drive while travelling internationally would be an advantage. An EU or UK passport would be preferred.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: 12/6 schedule, around 72 hours per week
