A lovely family based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, is seeking an experienced Full-time Live-in Housekeeper to help maintain their family home.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of housekeeping experience and will speak fluent English. A Tagalog-speaking candidate would be highly desirable. Someone reliable, organised, proactive, and confident managing a busy family home would be well suited to this role. A driver would be a bonus but is not essential.
The family has two boys aged 5 and 8 years old, one of whom has autism. They employ a live-out nanny, so no sole-charge childcare is required. However, the successful candidate should be comfortable being around the children and enjoy working in a family environment. The role focuses primarily on housekeeping, cooking, and supporting the smooth running of the household.
The successful candidate will be provided with a private floor, including a bedroom, kitchenette, and private bathroom.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, for a total of 50 hours per week.
Duties include:
ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a five-bedroom family home
sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing throughout the property
cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising clothing and household linens
making beds and changing bed linen as required
loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping dishware organised
preparing nutritious meals for the family
planning meals in advance and following recipes when required
preparing packed lunches and healthy snacks
shopping for groceries and household food supplies
baking and cooking with the children when appropriate
supporting a clean, organised, and welcoming family environment
The family is looking for someone who can start on 24th August 2026.
