A family situated in Jersey area is in need of a Live In Nanny Housekeeper. The job will require the candidate to join the family and help them in taking care of their two school-aged children and oversee the maintenance of their household. A candidate must have a valid First Aid Qualification and must be eager to help the family with their daily routine.
A confident driver is a must. The family has a cat and dog so someone who loves taking care of pets would be ideal. The candidate will be provided with a separate bedroom and bathroom, and a living area as well.
Duties will include:
- Helping children with after-school activities like homework
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Providing supervision and constant care to children
- Being disciplined with the children when required
- Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park
- Planning and organising age-related activities
- Stimulating children to read and be active
- Reading to and with the children
- Implementing daily routines
Housekeeping Duties:
- Doing the laundry and ironing of the family
- Dusting
- Hoovering the carpets and floors
- Ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
- Polishing floor
- Preparing simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
- Cleaning up after meals
- Changing bedsheets once a week
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family
The working hours for the position would be Monday to Friday, full time. The family travels up to 3 months a year, therefore the candidate will have a lot of time off and still get paid to spend time for his/herself.
