A lovely family based in Wimbledon, London, is seeking a Full-time Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to care for their two children, a 3-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl, while supporting the smooth running of their home.
The ideal candidate will have strong childcare and housekeeping experience. Someone warm, organised, proactive, and confident balancing childcare, household duties, and cooking would be ideal for this role.
The nanny-housekeeper will manage the children’s morning routines, prepare breakfast, and help with school and nursery runs. The role will also include active afternoon care, age-appropriate educational play, outdoor outings, reading, bath time, and helping the children wind down in the evening.
Housekeeping duties will include maintaining the home’s daily upkeep between visits from the deep cleaner, light maintenance, sweeping after meals, wiping surfaces, children’s laundry, ironing, and changing sheets for the children and guest room. The role will also include running household errands, such as dry cleaning and post office trips.
Cooking will be required, including planning and preparing healthy family meals, batch cooking in advance, managing food shopping, and preparing packed lunches and snacks.
A driver is required for this role, and the candidate must be confident driving both automatic and manual cars. The family may require occasional worldwide travel. No pet care will be required.
The candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 19:00, with downtime when the children are at school or napping. Occasional evening and weekend babysitting will be required.
