Mandarin-speaking Afterschool Nanny is needed by a family to look after their school-aged child in Camden, London. Someone who speaks Mandarin would be ideal to help the child learn how to communicate well using the language. The working hours for this position will be Monday to Thursday, approximately 12 to 15 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours of babysitting and more hours during school holidays.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position. Someone pet-friendly would be ideal as they own a lovely cat.
Duties will include
- Helping the child with afterschool activities like homework
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Providing supervision and constant care to the child
- Being disciplined with the child when required
- Tidying up child's bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the child and taking to the park
- Planning and organising age-related activities
- Stimulating the child to read and be active
- Reading to and with the child
- Implementing daily routines
