A wonderful family based in Chislehurst, London is looking for a Part-time Nanny to provide dedicated care for their charming toddler. The ideal candidate will be someone with Montessori experience or approach or has extensive experience in child development and is excited to bring creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm to daily activities. The family has a dog so someone pet-friendly is ideal but there will be no pet care required. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them for 3 to 4 weeks per year when they travel.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday or Thursday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, around 30 to 35 hours per week

Duties include:

  • Montessori-Inspired Activities: Plan and implement Montessori-based learning activities that encourage independent exploration, self-directed learning, and creative problem-solving.
  • Creative Learning: Develop and lead creative activities, such as art, music, and sensory play, to stimulate intellectual, emotional, and physical growth.
  • Outdoor Exploration: Engage the child in outdoor activities, ensuring a balance of structured learning and free exploration in nature, such as walks, nature play, and gardening.
  • Baking and Practical Life Skills: Assist with baking and other practical life activities, encouraging hands-on learning and motor skills development.
  • Daily Routine: Follow a structured daily routine that includes meals, naps, educational activities, outdoor time, and play.
  • Safety & Well-being: Ensure the child’s safety, emotional well-being, and developmental progress at all times.
  • Initiative & Creativity: Bring fresh, creative ideas for activities and help create an environment that fosters curiosity and learning.

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
