A wonderful family based in Tooting, London is looking for a Full time Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in caring for their two school-aged children whilst maintaining the cleanliness of their home. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children. They have two cats that is required to be fed and fill their water bowl so someone pet-friendly is ideal. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30/7:30 pm, around 55 to 60 hours per week
Duties include:
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines supports the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
