A wonderful family in Clapham, London is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in caring for their two school-aged children and maintain their property to a high standard of cleanliness. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. They will appreciate if the candidate is happy to cook and prepare healthy meals for them. Someone who speaks Tagalog would be a bonus but they can consider English-speaking candidates.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm with longer breaks in the day, approximately 50 hours per week plus babysitting twice per week
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom
Duties include:
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
They are looking for someone who can start by the end of August 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
