A wonderful family based in Brixton, London is looking for a Part time Nanny-Housekeeper to provide proper care for their precious baby due in July 2025 and maintain the cleanliness of their home. They are looking for someone who have lots of experience in looking after newborn babies and preferably with hands-on attitude. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the family. The family has a dog at home so someone pet-friendly is ideal however there will be no pet care required as they have a dog walker.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm or 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, around 20 to 30 hours per week
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infant
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child
- Keeping child's bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
