This wonderful family based in Wapping, London, is looking for a nanny-housekeeper to care for their baby and maintain their home. Fluency in both English and Afrikaans would be a bonus. The role includes all general nanny-housekeeping duties. The family also has two miniature dachshunds, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable helping with pet care, including morning routines and daily walks. A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Can offer more for the right person.
Duties include:
- Supporting with feeding, nappy changes, and bathing routines
- Preparing bottles, meals, and snacks tailored to the child’s needs
- Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities and stimulating play
- Ensuring the child’s bedroom and play areas are kept clean and organised
- Managing laundry and ironing for the child
- Taking the child on outings and always prioritising their safety
- Cleaning bottles, tidying up toys, and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
- Keeping the kitchen clean after food preparation
- Running errands and shopping for the child’s essentials
- Assisting with the family’s laundry and maintaining the child’s wardrobe in order
