A lovely family based in Wimbledon, London, is seeking a part-time nanny-housekeeper to assist with caring for their delightful toddler and school-aged child while also helping with household tasks. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and energetic, ensuring they can keep up with the children’s needs while managing all housekeeping duties related to them. A driver who owns a car and holds a full driving licence is essential for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 24 hours per week
Duties include:
- Picking up the children from nursery and school
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
- Bathing and ensuring proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play and educational activities
- Encouraging early literacy through reading and storytelling
- Providing homework support and aiding in the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining structured daily routines for the children
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and well-maintained
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
