A lovely family in Hook, Hampshire, is seeking a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organised home while caring for their delightful toddler and school-aged child. This role is ideal for someone responsible, nurturing, and skilled at balancing childcare with household tasks. The family has a friendly dog, so a pet-lover who can occasionally walk and feed the dog is essential. Flexibility to travel with the family to Europe for 4 to 8 weeks per year is required. A full driving licence is also necessary for this position. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for around 35 to 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule
Accommodation: Separate accommodation - annex, 1 bedroom flat, kitchen, living room, and bathroom on a separate entrance
Duties include:
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
- Collecting the children from nursery and school
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing snacks tailored to the children, with occasional preparation of dinner when required
- Encouraging the children to tidy up and keeping their bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the home
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothing and linens, and organising them as needed
- Making beds and replacing linens
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Cooking healthy meals for the family
They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and they can wait until the 1st week of September 2025.
