A Full time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by a family in Notting Hill, London to help with the upkeep of their home whilst helping in looking after their charming toddler. They are looking for someone who have lots of experience in doing childcare and housekeeping tasks. The family currently have a nanny and separate cleaner and would like to combine both roles.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm plus morning drop-off at 8:00 am to 9:00 am for 35 hours a week. During holidays from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm for 55 hours a week. Total of 43 hours a week.
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
