A wonderful family based in Hammersmith, London is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper who can entertain their three school-aged children with creative activities and maintain the household using their initiative during the day, while the children are at school. An ideal candidate will be someone calm and patient yet energetic enough to keep up with the children while handling housekeeping tasks related to them. The nanny-housekeeper must be a competent cook who can prepare healthy meals for the children. The nanny-housekeeper must be comfortable joining them when they travel to Europe for 3 to 4 weeks per year.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, approximately 60 hours per week
Accommodation: Own bedroom and shared bathroom
Duties include:
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
