A wonderful Jewish family is seeking a Nanny Housekeeper for a 6-month period. The role will be split equally between nanny and housekeeping duties. They are looking for someone who can assist with school pick-ups for their school-aged child in the afternoon, help care for their newborn twins (due in March), and support with general housekeeping tasks. Experience in a Jewish household, caring for twins, and driving are preferred but not essential.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: 4 days a week, 8 hours per day but flexible for the right candidate. (between 25 and 32 hours).
Duties include:
- Preparing bottles of milk for babies
- Washing and bathing children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, care, and development of the children
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Tidying up children’s bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park
- Reading to and engaging with the children
- Assisting with homework
- Implementing daily routines for the children
- Managing the household, including 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms
- Maintaining a clean family home by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fittings
- Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs, and showers
- Deep cleaning the kitchen and ensuring all areas are tidy
- Washing clothes and managing the laundry
- Unloading and organising laundry
- Ironing clothes and linens
- Making beds and changing linens regularly
- Washing dishes and managing the dishwasher
- Experience in managing a kosher kitchen, ensuring proper food preparation and storage
