A wonderful family based in Wimbledon, London is looking for a Part time Nanny-Housekeeper to help them care for their charming toddler, school-aged child and help them with their household. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of all housekeeping tasks related to them. A driver who owns a car and holds a full driving license is required for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 24 hours per week
Duties include:
- Collecting the children from nursery and school
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play and educational activities
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
