This lovely family based in Lewisham, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and organised home while providing care for their baby and school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny and housekeeping duties, including preparing meals for the family. A driving licence would be a bonus, though not essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am to 10:00 am (with flexibility).
Duties include:
- Providing full care for the children, including bathing, dressing, maintaining proper hygiene, and ensuring their safety and well-being
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor outings such as trips to the park
- Encouraging early literacy through regular reading and supporting their educational growth, including homework assistance
- Caring for infants by preparing bottles, changing nappies, supporting weaning, and making fresh purees
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children and the family’s dietary preferences
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, comfortable, and organised home (excluding deep cleaning)
- Performing household laundry and ironing, including changing bed linens and making beds
- Maintaining cleanliness in high-use areas such as the kitchen and bathroom; loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Running errands for the family, including grocery shopping and dry cleaning collection
- Cooking healthy, balanced meals for the whole family
