This lovely family based in Lewisham, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to help keep their home clean and organised while caring for their baby and school-aged child. All general nanny-housekeeping duties are required in this role, including cooking for the family. A driver would be a bonus, though not essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am to 10:00 am (with flexibility).
Duties include:
- Providing full care for the children, including bathing, dressing, maintaining proper hygiene, and ensuring their safety and well-being
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s development
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor outings such as trips to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books and supporting their educational growth, including homework assistance
- Caring for infants, including nappy changes, bottle preparation, and making purees
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children and the family
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Carrying out all general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised home (no deep cleaning)
- Performing household laundry and ironing, including changing bed linens and making beds
- Keeping kitchen and bathroom areas clean and tidy, and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Running errands for the family as needed, such as grocery shopping
- Cooking healthy, balanced meals for the entire family
