A lovely family is looking for a part-time nanny to assist with their baby and school-aged child one day a week. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Greek and have experience caring for children of similar ages. All general nanny duties are required, including engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their well-being, and providing a nurturing environment. A driver is essential for this role, as the nanny will be responsible for school runs or transporting the children to activities. A valid first aid qualification is also required.
Working hours: Monday from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm (will increase to 3 full days with right candidate)
Duties include:
- Looking after the children’s needs, welfare, development, health, and safety
- Supervising the children at all times in your care
- Taking them to and from activities and playdates
- Changing nappies, cleaning, and sterilising bottles
- Bathing the children and preparing them for nap time or bedtime routine
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting their educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines for structure and development
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
