This lovely family based in Pimlico, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny to care for their baby and school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties. The ideal candidate will have newborn experience, be reliable and trustworthy, and possess a proactive, friendly, and child-focused approach. A driver would be a bonus. A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (30 hours per week)
Duties include:
- Waking the children in the morning and helping them start their day
- Washing and dressing the children, including bathing and hygiene routines for the baby
- Preparing and serving healthy breakfasts and snacks
- Feeding the baby, including bottle preparation and weaning support when appropriate
- Changing nappies and ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for the baby
- Establishing and maintaining nap routines for the baby
- Helping older children with homework and encouraging learning through play
- Planning and organising age-appropriate activities for both the baby and older children
- Engaging in creative and educational play, indoors and outdoors
- Attending playdates and organising social outings
- Supporting bedtime routines, including dressing for bed and reading stories
- Maintaining a tidy and organised environment, including children’s laundry and play areas
