An international nanny is required by this high-profile VIP family based in Abu Dhabi to assist them in caring for their toddler, with the view to supporting future children as the family grows. The family operates at the highest standards and value a structured, routine-led environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine vocation for childcare, a proven track record of longevity with previous private families, and deep expertise in early years development.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Care: Oversee all aspects of feeding, hygiene, safety, sleep routines, and emotional well-being. Structured Learning at Home: Implement age-appropriate, nursery-style learning programs tailored to the child's developmental stage. Milestone Tracking: Prepare weekly educational activity plans and actively track developmental progress (fine/gross motor skills, language acquisition, sensory exploration, and creative/imaginative play). Communication & Engagement: Stimulate language skills continuously through reading, singing, and intentional interaction.
Nursery Maintenance: Keep all child-related spaces (nursery, playrooms, wardrobes, feeding tools, and toys) impeccably clean, sterilized, labeled, and organized. Developmental Toy Rotation: Systematically rotate toys and learning materials according to developmental milestones. Packing & Travel Prep: Manage all packing, unpacking, and preparation of the child’s wardrobe and equipment for frequent international travel.
Daily & Weekly Updates: Provide daily verbal debriefs to the parents, alongside formal weekly written reports detailing development, activities, feeding, and sleep patterns. Proactive Safety: Immediately communicate any health, safety, or developmental concerns.
Household & Travel Dynamics • Fully Staffed Household: The primary residence is fully staffed (housekeepers, chefs, etc.). The nanny must thrive working in a team-oriented, high-staff environment. • Travel Flexibility: Extensive worldwide travel is required (3 to 6 months per year). While traveling, if domestic staff is reduced, the nanny must be agile and happy to assist with basic child-related duties (such as preparing child meals and light child-focused housekeeping). • EU Passport: An EU passport is required to facilitate seamless international travel. • Travel Accommodations & Policy: Base Residences: Accommodation and all food/meals are provided at the home (no separate food allowance). Non-Base Travel: A daily food allowance is provided. Room Sharing: During travel, the nanny may be required to share a room with the child or another staff member. Note: Room sharing does not constitute extra pay or Days in Lieu. Days in Lieu (DIL): DIL is granted only if an official weekly day off is fully missed due to travel or night support/sleep regression within the same country.
Candidate Profile & Conduct Standards • Experience & Longevity: Candidates must demonstrate proven longevity in previous roles and specialized expertise in infant and toddler development (ages 1–3+). • Attributes: Honest, highly discreet, proactive, resilient under travel pressure, and non-smoking. A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day
