An International Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Vienna, Austria to help them care for their precious baby, toddler and school-aged child. The family is looking for a smooth transition as their maternity nurse will be leaving at the end of April, but the nanny will start in February to work alongside her. This will help the nanny become confident with the routine already in place and give you more time to get to know the older children. The nanny will primarily care for the baby and take on responsibilities for their older siblings alongside another nanny, who already works with the family in the afternoons. The family is looking for someone excellent, discreet and focused on the children. You should be passionate about childcare and very experienced with babies and toddlers.

Someone with excellent experiences and willingness to stay long-term in the role are a must for this position. The family is looking for someone who is comfortable travelling since they would be spending their vacation out of the country. A driver who holds a full driving license is a bonus for this role.

Someone who could speak French or Italian languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates would also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position. 



Working hours: Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule plus occasional weekends and babysitting.

Accommodation:

Two options;

  1. Separate studio flat within a 5-minute walk.

  2. Separate part of the family's flat (own bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and separate entrance)

Duties include:

  • sterilising bottles of milk for babies
  • cooking healthy meals for the children
  • following morning and afternoon routines
  • changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
  • helping older children with homework
  • teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
  • creating activities and playdates
  • preparing and administering healthy food for the children
  • preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
  • cleaning and washing up after children’s meals
  • reporting every activities and issue to the parents

They are looking for someone who can start in February 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
