An experienced part time governess/governor or tutor is needed by a family from Camden, London to assist their school aged child with learning and other academic activities. The child is very intelligent so they will require someone firm with authority and is not a pushover. They will expect the governess to engage the child not just with school work, but by going to museums and theatre. It would be a bonus if the candidate can play the piano or is a chess player as the child is learning these activities at the moment.
The family is looking for a professional tutor/teacher with BA qualifications as a minimum. It will be a huge advantage if the governess has MA degree. A valid first training is also essential to this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm and ideally a couple of hours on Saturday which is optional
Duties include:
Travel is possible in the future and they may need the governess to join them. The family is keen to hire as soon as possible.
