A family based in Westminster, Central London (NW8), is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Part-Time Housekeeper-Cook to support their household and care for their three children (ages 8, 11, and 14).
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional private household experience, exceptional culinary skills with specialized knowledge of gluten-free cooking and celiac-safe cross-contamination protocols (as a young family member is on a strict gluten-free diet), and a proactive, organized approach to afternoon routines.
Duties include:
- Cooking & Dietary Management (60%): Planning and executing a wide variety of global menus using 100% strictly gluten-free ingredients; preparing family-friendly staple meals, high-energy sports snacks, and batch-cooked travel meals; maintaining a pristine, cross-contamination-free kitchen environment; overseeing Ocado grocery deliveries, auditing items for gluten-free compliance, and managing inventory.
- Housekeeping & Maintenance (40%): Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen area; managing comprehensive laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens; making beds, replacing linens, and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
- Childcare Support & Coordination: Occasional school pick-ups (via Uber or public transport) for the children; assisting with post-meal transitions, packing sports gear, prepping water bottles, ensuring correct uniforms are ready, and helping children get out the door on time for extracurricular activities.
The family is looking for someone who can start on 21 September 2026, or as soon as possible (ASAP).
