A family currently residing in Barnet, London is seeking a part time live out housekeeper who can help them maintain the cleanliness and structure of their well organised property. Someone who can drive is ideal.
The housekeeper must have the following requirements
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
- The ability to spot what needs doing in a home
- Attention to detail
- Product/fabric/surface knowledge
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer oriented and friendly
- Prioritisation and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality.
- Integrity and honesty.
Working hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 07:30 to 2:30 pm
Duties include:
- Clean all rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, toilets, corridors,
stairways, and other all other internal areas of the house to a high standard
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum
cleaners and/or shampooers
- Empty wastebaskets and transport any other trash and waste into appropriate coloured bin
- Making beds and changing linens
- Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
- Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Replace linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies
- Receive and store online shopping and grocery deliveries to the house
- Make a list of groceries and household supplies to keep kitchens and
bathrooms fully stocked
- Run errands such as taking laundry to the cleaners and dropping off parcels to the post office
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
- Replace light bulbs
- Sort and store ironed clothes and linen in the correct rooms and closets
- Make a list of repairs required throughout the house
- Deal with the tradesmen that may come to the house and oversee their work
- Load the dishwasher and/or wash dishes, cooking utensils, and silverware
- Deep cleaning of BBQ area, periodically/as required
- Cleaning and organising storage areas
