A lovely family based in Oxfordshire is seeking a proactive, organised Part-Time Housekeeper for approximately 25 hours per week, ideally scheduled across five mornings. The core role focuses on high-standard cleaning, comprehensive laundry and ironing, organising cupboards, oiling wood floors, laying fires, and prepping the home for guests. Additional daily duties include grocery shopping, unpacking deliveries, handling bins, seasonal garden tasks (such as cutting fresh flowers and freezing produce), caring for the family dog, and ensuring estate security.
The ideal candidate will also be a versatile professional who can occasionally assist with the family's son and daughter during working hours, cover for their full-time nanny, or manage future nursery runs. There is potential for cooking, with the family happy to provide lessons if desired. Occasional paid overtime will be available for ad hoc errands, evening hosting assistance, contractor oversight, and overnight house/pet-sitting (including future hens and horses) when the family travels.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 5 hours per day - Start anywhere from 7:30-9am for 5 hour shift
