This lovely family based in Woodford Green, Essex, is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to keep their home clean and tidy. All general housekeeping duties are required in this role, including dinner preparation twice a week, ordering and putting away groceries, and deep cleaning kitchen equipment on a rota basis. The family also has two cats.
Working hours: Ideally between Monday and Friday, Flexible to discuss days and hours with candidates.
Duties include:
- No direct childcare duties; however, previous experience working in a household with children is preferred
- Ensuring the cleanliness and general upkeep of the residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and household surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Flexible to support with additional household errands as required
- Preparing dinner twice a week and ordering groceries, including putting them away
- Deep cleaning kitchen equipment on a rota basis
