A lovely family based in Wandsworth, London, is seeking a part-time housekeeper to help maintain their home in a clean and well-organised condition. The role includes all general housekeeping duties. As a small bonus, lunch will be provided for the children.
Working hours: 3 full days a week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday and Friday must, other days flexible. It can also be 2 full days and 2 half days.
Duties include:
- Friendly and child-aware housekeeper with occasional school and club drop-offs and pick-ups (all locations are within walking distance)
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming family home on a daily basis
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all floor surfaces
- Dusting and polishing furniture, surfaces, and household fittings to maintain cleanliness
- Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Performing deep cleans in the kitchen to maintain hygiene and order
- Handling laundry: washing, drying, folding, and neatly organising clothing
- Ironing garments and storing them appropriately
- Making beds and routinely changing bed linen
- Washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Cleaning windows and mirrors to ensure a sparkling finish
- Occasionally, preparing lunches for the children as a bonus
