A lovely family based in Watford, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their baby and school-aged child on a permanent basis. The role includes all general nanny duties, including preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs. The family has a small dog, so a pet-friendly candidate is essential. A valid paediatric first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexible)
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and bottle preparation for the infant
- Bathing and maintaining hygiene for all children
- Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met
- Engaging in interactive play, educational activities, and outings like trips to the park
- Promoting early literacy through reading and storytelling
- Establishing consistent routines to support healthy habits and structure
- Keeping bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
- Comfortable around a small, allergy-friendly dog in the home
