A lovely family based in Islington, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their baby. The role includes all general nanny duties, with fluency in French being essential. Responsibilities involve preparing and cooking meals for the child and supporting the weaning process. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday,
9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the child
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child’s structure and growth
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Assisting with nappy changes and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Preparing and sterilising bottles, and feeding the baby as required
- Supporting the child’s sleep routine, including settling for naps and bedtime
- Bathing and dressing the baby appropriately for the weather and planned activities
- Monitoring developmental milestones and updating parents on progress or concerns
- Encouraging early learning through sensory play, music, and age-appropriate games
- Reading books regularly to support language development and bonding
- Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Washing, drying, and folding the child’s clothes and linens
- Organising the child’s wardrobe, including rotating seasonal clothing
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the child’s age and needs
- Carrying out general housekeeping tasks related to the child
