A Part time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family based in Chiswick, London to assist them in looking after their toddler, school-aged child and maintain the cleanliness of their home. They are looking for someone organised and hardworking who takes initiative with all general housekeeping and childcare duties. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family occasionally.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 4 days per week for 20 hours a week on a flexible schedule preferably in the afternoons
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Occasional cooking for the family
