A wonderful family in the Bromley area is seeking a Part-time Nanny Housekeeper to care for their baby and toddler while ensuring their home remains clean and well-maintained. They are looking for an energetic, proactive, and easygoing candidate who is attentive to developmental stages.
The role includes cooking and preparing healthy meals for the family. A driver with a full driving licence and their own car is required. While German speakers are preferred, English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm, Tuesday from 6:30 am to 9:00 am then 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30 am to 9:00 am, and Saturday from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, 31 hours per week
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for the infant
- Bathing and ensuring proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children's needs
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
