A Part time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family based in Chiswick, London to provide dedicated care for their baby and school-aged child while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They are looking for someone organised and hardworking who takes initiative with all general housekeeping and childcare duties. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family occasionally.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: 4 days per week for 20 hours a week on a flexible schedule
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Occasional cooking for the family
