A lovely family based in Woking, Surrey, is looking for a warm, experienced, and adaptable Part-Time Live-Out Nanny Housekeeper to assist with their two children, aged 6 and 9 years old. Both children are neurodivergent (with diagnoses of autism and ADHD).
Essential Requirements:
- Driver: A valid driving licence (covering both manual and automatic vehicles) is strictly required. One of the children attends a specialist school requiring a 40-minute drive each way, making school runs a primary and time-consuming responsibility.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of direct professional experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Pets: The household includes a small, friendly, and well-behaved dog, so candidates must be comfortable around animals.
A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 14:00 to 17:30 (2:00 PM to 5:30 PM), totalling 10.5 hours per week.
Duties include:
- carrying out school runs and collections, navigating a 40-minute drive each way to the specialist school
- ensuring the safety, well-being, development, and structured routine of both children, drawing on strong SEN experience
- engaging the children in interactive play and providing homework support
- preparing nutritious family meals
- keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas tidy, alongside general light housekeeping duties
The family is looking for someone who can start on 5 October 2026.
