This lovely family based in Brighton, East Sussex, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their baby and school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny duties. A driver would be a bonus. The family is very flexible with the nanny’s working days and hours and is simply looking for some extra support during the week. A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm with additional ad hoc baby sitting (flexible on hours)
Duties include:
- Providing full care for the children, including school pick-ups, after-school clubs, homework support, and evening routines.
- Engaging the children in creative, educational, and age-appropriate activities.
- Managing all child-related housekeeping, including bedrooms, play areas, and laundry.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including floor care, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing.
- Preparing healthy meals and assisting with general meal preparation.
- Feeding the family cat as required.
- Carrying out all duties relating to the children, including school pick-ups (the eldest may take the bus home, with flexibility required for after-school clubs).
- This lovely family is looking to hire as soon as possible, but happy to wait until January
