A warm and experienced Turkish-speaking nanny is needed by a lovely family in Balham, London to support their preschool-aged child's care and Turkish language development. The ideal candidate will have native-level Turkish fluency and at least 2 years of childcare experience. The role will focus on creating a fun and engaging environment where the child can develop their Turkish naturally through play and daily interaction.
Working hours: Monday, from 8am to 6pm, with some flexibility.
Duties include:
- providing attentive care for the preschool-aged child
- supporting the child's safety, well-being, and development
- speaking Turkish with the child throughout the day
- reading books together in Turkish
- playing games and organising fun activities in Turkish
- supporting the child's Turkish language development through everyday conversation
- engaging the child in age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
- carrying out all childcare-related housekeeping duties
- preparing food and snacks for the child as required
- maintaining the child's areas and belongings
- ensuring the child is happy, safe, and well cared for
The family has a friendly cat in the home, but no pet care is required. A driver is not required for this position. The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
