This family in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an experienced SEN support worker to provide structured, behaviour-led support to a 15-year-old young person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and behavioural regulation challenges. The successful candidate will take a confident lead during their working hours, implementing consistent routines, boundaries, and positive behaviour strategies to promote independence and emotional regulation. Experience supporting children/teens with ASD and ADHD is essential.
This role involves providing dedicated after-school support to a mother by caring for a 15-year-old with additional needs, with a primary focus on fostering his independence through guided daily chores and life skills. While maintaining an inclusive and engaging environment for his 10-year-old sibling.
A valid first aid certificate is required for this role.
Working hours: Mum is flexible - x3 days per week, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm. 4 to 7 hours flexibility on the weekends
