A lovely family based in Islington, London, is seeking a part-time Nanny to care for their baby. The role involves all general nanny duties. Fluency in French is essential. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals for the child and supporting the weaning process. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday,
9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child’s structure and development
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Assisting with nappy changes and maintaining proper hygiene
- Preparing and sterilising bottles, and feeding the baby as needed
- Supporting the child’s sleep routine, including settling for naps and bedtime
- Bathing and dressing the baby appropriately for the weather and activities
- Monitoring developmental milestones and informing parents of any progress or concerns
- Encouraging early learning through sensory play, music, and age-appropriate games
- Reading books to support language development and bonding
- Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Washing, drying, and folding the child’s clothes and linens
- Organising the child’s wardrobe and changing seasonal clothing as needed
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for the child’s age
- Carrying out housekeeping tasks related to the child
