A lovely family based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Nanny to help care for their young children, with a baby due in November.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. Someone warm, reliable, proactive, and confident caring for toddlers, pre-school-aged children, and newborns would be ideal for this role.
The nanny will be responsible for supporting the children’s daily routines, including nappy changes, bottle preparation for the baby when required, bathing, hygiene, and age-appropriate care. The role will also include engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, reading, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
The family would like someone who can encourage early literacy, support the children’s educational growth, and help limit screen time through fun and engaging activities. Occasional cooking for the children may be required, although the family already has a housekeeper-cook.
The family has two cats, so someone comfortable around pets would be ideal. A driver would be a bonus, but this is not essential.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30 to 18:00
