A wonderful family based in the vibrant Wieden district of Vienna, Austria, is looking for a proactive, energetic Part-Time Weekend International Nanny to care for their three children (ages 2, 4, and 6). This role offers a smooth handover in October 2026, taking over from a long-standing nanny of 10 years.
The children are in a fantastic routine and attend school and nursery (including the French Lycée). Because the family employs a full-time weekday afternoon nanny, your primary focus will be managing dynamic weekend schedules, traveling with the family, and providing proxy-parenting support. Flexibility is required to step in during the week for occasional evening babysitting or backup coverage if the weekday nanny is unwell.
The ideal candidate will be switched-on, highly organized, active, and pedagogically minded, with proven experience traveling with families and handling multiple young children. Fluent English is required, while French is a major bonus (German is also welcomed). Having a valid driver's licence is considered a bonus.
Accommodation: A private 30 sqm studio flat with air-conditioning located within a 5-minute walk from the family home is provided year-round. This setup is ideal for candidates studying or tutoring on the side, as weekdays are largely free.
A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday, approximately 10 to 12 hours per day), plus occasional weekday evening babysitting or backup coverage.
