A lovely family in Islington, London is looking for a Temporary Nanny. who will be responsible for caring for their two school-aged children and a toddler. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. The nanny will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. This will be a temporary role from the 16th until the 24th of June 2025.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, approximately 57.5 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cooking and preparing dinner meals for the family
