A lovely family based in Richmond, London is looking for an After-school Nanny to help them care for two school-aged children. They are looking for a reliable, caring and a bright nanny who can carry out all childcare duties. They prefer someone who could speak the German language however they can consider English-speaking candidates.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 30 hours per week
Duties include:
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Taking the children to and from activities: The children have a lot of local after school activities (tennis, basketball, piano, etc.) that the nanny would need to get them ready for and take them to
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Doing the dishes, folding laundry (especially the children), and cleaning up after the kids (keeping their room/playroom clean)
- Plan & prepare afternoon snacks and dinner for the children
