Bridget was a pleasure to meet and she came across as punctual and very organised, she arrived 15 minutes earlier with a folder containing all her documents and reference letters. She was born in Australia and because her mother is German she is bilingual and mentioned she loves German cultures because of punctuality and the way everything is very organised. She lived in Australia, Germany, Canada and now London, therefore she is multicultural. She said that this helped her become more open minded, compassionate, careful and respectful. She has 3 more sisters and for 8 years they had Au pairs, therefore she knows the dynamics. She has experience as an Au pair and as a nanny and tutor, working with children age 2years+, for both English and German families. She volunteer for many years for schools and church and for a play group and since September she become the leader of a play group, being in charge of organising and managing a weekly playgroup for up to 15 pre-school aged children. She describes herself as patient, organised, punctual, self sufficient, with initiative, friendly and easy going and said her hobbies are cooking and baking, swimming, music, reading and traveling. Bridget is one of my favourite Au pairs so far as it was more a nice chat then an interview, she was open and answer with ease to all of my question. I recommend you would interview her as soon as possible as she will not be in our books for long.
